Processability

PANTARHOL 90 (VZ)

Retarder with liquefying effect for concrete according to EN 934-2

APPLICATIONS
By using PANTARHOL 90 (VZ), the processing time of the concrete is specifically extended.
Construction joints can be avoided, as well as longer work stoppages can be bridged.

DOSAGE
Recommended dosage range 0,2 - 1,0 M .-% of cement content; corresponds to 2 - 10 ml per kg of cement.
The reference values for the workability times of concrete with CEM I 32.5 R are given in the table below.

Processability - Recommended dosage at concrete temperature in ° C
  + 10 °C + 20 ° C + 30 ° C
04 hours 0,1 0,0 0,2
08 hours 0,2 = 200 ml Pantarhol 90/100 kg of cement 0,3 0,4
12 hours 0,4 0,5 0,6
16 hours 0,6 0,7 0,8
20 hours 0,7 0,9 1,0
24 hours 0,8 1,0 = 1 L/100 kg of cement

* Dosage in kg per 100 kg CEM I 32.5 R for processability times of the concrete in hours.

The values given are only guideline values as individual cements can react differently. With CEM III / A the dosage can be reduced, with CEM I 42,5 R it must be increased.

OPERATION
Delaying cement hydration will increase processing time. The delaying effect is determined by the level of dosage, but also influenced by the type of cement and the temperature. PANTARHOL 90 (VZ) also has a liquefying effect. As a result, the w / c value can be reduced or the slump can be increased.

REMARKS
The Technical Information Sheet describes processing and application possibilities as well as typical modes of action under normal conditions. However, these instructions are by no means guaranteed properties and also no complete instructions for use, since we have no influence on the subsequent further processing and use in connection with other building materials.  Due to continuous development, the technical data sheet is subject to change and in its latest version, which can be requested from us at any time.
BEFORE APPLICATION OF THE ADDITIONAL PRODUCT, SUITABILITY TESTS OR REVIEWS REQUIRED.
