1 General:

After mixing the paste with crosslinker occurs in 40 - 55 min. the vulcanization in the whole mass.

Dosage of crosslinker (hardener): 2.5 ml - 3 ml on 100g rubber paste. 

 

2. Application:

This product is very suitable for making  molds for concrete, plaster, fiberglass, wax / candle crafts, toys, sculptures ...

       For a variety of industrial applications, for the production of various seals etc.

3. Mixing of rubber pastes with crosslinker:

The required amount of paste is weighed in an appropriate (on the best plastic vessel) and mixed with the prescribed amount of crosslinking agent.

The mixture is thoroughly mixed with a flat spatula, especially on the bottom and in corners of the vessel.

When mixing prevent the air from entering the mass! For this reason, the mixing by means of an electric mixer is inadmissible.

Processing time 40 - 55 min. Increasing the quantity of hardener accelerates vulcanization and shortens the processing time, but at the same time it undesirably increases the linear shrinkage. Therefore, no larger dose of crosslinker is recommended.

 

5. Modelvorbereitung:

The model can be made of wood, metal, plastic, ceramics, plaster, wax, paper, stone, concrete or clay.

The surfaces of models of porous materials should be sealed with lacquer coatings. If high gloss of casts from molds is desired, it is recommended to coat the surfaces of the models with wax coats.

To facilitate good separation it is recommended to thin coat the models with a suitable release agent.

In the case of the gypsum model where no surface treatment has been performed, moistening with water is usually sufficient.

6. Security:

The rubber pastes  are  harmless to health.
